This is a waitlist site. We collect the minimum we need to tell you about the launch and to make good product decisions, and nothing else. Here it is in plain language.

What we collect

  • Your email address or your phone number — whichever one you give us. We don’t need both.
  • Your survey answers, if you choose to answer: preorder intent, colour preference, organization wishes, and anything you’d change. The survey is optional and every question is skippable.
  • Signup context: your IP address, browser user-agent, and timezone.
  • How you found us: UTM parameters (which post or group linked you here) and the referring page.

Why we collect it

  • To email or text you about this launch — that’s the point of the list.
  • To decide what to build: colours, pockets, price validation.
  • To know which communities to spend our time in (the UTM data).
  • To prevent spam and abuse (the IP address).

Text messages (SMS)

If you give us your phone number, you agree to receive text messages about this launch only. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out. That consent language is shown at the moment you sign up, and we store the exact wording you saw along with the time you agreed — that record exists to protect you.

Where it lives

Your data is stored with Supabase (our database provider) on servers in the United States, and processed by Vercel (our hosting provider). If the welcome email is enabled, email sending is handled by Resend. These providers process data on our behalf; they don’t use it for their own purposes.

Who sees it

The Sunday Proof founding team. Nobody else. We do not sell your data, rent it, or share it with advertisers. When we launch, we plan to import the list into our email/SMS platform (e.g. Klaviyo) to send the launch messages you signed up for — same purpose, same rules.

Advertising measurement (Meta Pixel)

We run ads on Facebook and Instagram, and we need to know which ones actually work. To do that this site uses the Meta Pixel, which is a third-party advertising tracker operated by Meta. It sets a cookie (_fbp) in your browser and tells Meta when you view this page, join the waitlist, or place a reservation deposit.

We also send those same events to Meta from our server, because browser-based tracking is often blocked. When we do, your email address or phone number is hashed first using SHA-256 — Meta receives a scrambled fingerprint it can match against its own records, not your actual address. We never send Meta your raw email, phone number, or survey answers.

What Meta does with this data is governed by Meta’s own privacy policy, not this one. If you would rather not be measured this way, a tracker-blocking extension or your browser’s tracking protection will stop the pixel, and you can still join the waitlist normally.

What we don’t do

  • No selling of personal data, ever.
  • No advertising tracker other than the Meta Pixel described above.
  • No cookies for our own analytics — we use Vercel Web Analytics, which is cookieless and doesn’t identify you. The Meta Pixel is the exception, and it is described above.
  • We never send Meta your raw email address or phone number.

Session storage

The site keeps your arrival context (the UTM parameters and referrer described above) in your browser’s sessionStorage so we still know which community sent you if you sign up at the bottom of the page instead of the top. It clears when you close the tab. The admin area uses one cookie to keep the team logged in; visitors never get that one. Visitors do get the Meta Pixel’s _fbp cookie described above.

How long we keep it

Until launch plus a reasonable wind-down period, or until you ask us to delete it — whichever comes first. If the product doesn’t launch, we delete the list rather than repurpose it.

Your choices

  • Unsubscribe: reply “remove me” to any email, or STOP to any text, and we’ll take you off the list.
  • Deletion: email hello@sundayproof.com and we’ll delete everything we have about you.
  • Questions: same address. A human reads it.
